Our Team

Peter Mooney purchased Flexible Benefits Systems Inc. in January 2018.  

He has been in the qualified plan and employee benefits space since 1993. Peter began his career in the financial service industry with AXA where he developed an organizational group for corporate employee benefits programs and estate planning alternatives. He played a key role in attracting accountants to enhance their practices by offering financial services to their clients. 

In 2001 he created Source Companies that concentrated on the retirement plan space and helped business owners with their plan design to maximize the plan. They also worked with the employees to maximize their retirement.  

Peter earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Cleveland State University. Outside the office, he enjoys boating, fishing, attempting golf, traveling and spending time with his family.  Peter resides in Lyndhurst, Ohio with his wife Leanne.

Cindy has been with our firm for over 21 years and oversees all FBSI's daily recordkeeping, trading, plan conversions, and deconversions. She also serves as our backup for most other areas.

Cindy has a BS degree in Business Administration, as well as an MS degree in Technical Education – both from the University of Akron. 

Before joining FSBI in 1998, Cindy gained a wealth of experience in 401k plan and FSA plan administration, purchasing, and international marketing.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and crafting.

Vickie processes our payrolls, distributions, and loans daily.

Before joining our firm, she worked for 38 years as a plan administrator for the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. There, she oversaw 401k plans and their day to day contact with their recordkeeper.

In her spare time, Vickie enjoys spending time with family – especially when she gets an opportunity to support her grandchildren playing sports.
 

Lynn joined FBSI as a Compliance Analyst in 2016 and has over 37 years’ experience in the benefits field, working as a plan sponsor or third party administrator.

She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Baldwin-Wallace College 

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching game shows, reading and soaking up the sun on the beach or next to a pool in South Carolina.

Eric joined the FBSI team in 2018 and works directly with financial advisors to assist with the onboarding of clients in our Open Choice Retirement platform.

He has a BS degree in Finance and Economics. After graduating, he obtained valuable management experience at an industry-leading car rental agency, where he honed his leadership, customer service, and accounting skills.

Eric enjoys providing retirement plan participants with an easy to use and educational retirement platform, as well as equipping both financial advisors and payroll companies with a straightforward 401(k) payroll integration.

Outside the office, Eric is a keen Ultra Marathon runner, enjoys boating and spending time with family.

Mark has been overseeing our IT and accounting since 2017.

He has BS degrees in Finance and Accounting, both from Penn State University. Before joining FBSI, Mark worked in IT Finance at a global manufacturer of welding and cutting products. He enjoys utilizing technology to overcome challenges and improve processes.

In his spare time, he’s an avid fisherman and golfer and values spending time with his family.
